Founder's note
Bhavani Parakala
Principal Consultant & Founder
I built SOATERA (so-uh-TEHR-uh) after more than 25 years of leading the work that most organizations depend on but rarely celebrate.
Not the announcements. The part before that, when priorities are unclear, systems aren't connecting, and someone needs to step in, make sense of it all, and move things forward. That was always my role. The person leaders called when something important was stuck. The one who stayed until it wasn't.
That experience spans healthcare, technology, operations, consulting, and delivery across organizations including Elevance Health, Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, Veradigm, and Catalyst Solutions. Across those environments I learned what strong execution actually requires: clear priorities, connected systems, accountable teams, and practical leadership that stays close to the work.
I also saw a gap.
Small and mid-sized businesses face the same operational and technology complexity as larger organizations. But large consulting models are not built for them. The cost is too high, the distance from the actual work is too great, and the attention is too thin. These businesses need experienced guidance without the overhead, a partner who understands their constraints, engages directly, and stays accountable through delivery.
SOATERA was built to be that.
Every client receives direct attention, honest judgment, and hands-on support from planning through execution. When broader expertise is needed, I bring in trusted professionals from a network built over decades, people with deep, real experience in strategy, technology, data, operations, and delivery. Not a general roster. The right people, assembled for the specific work that needs to get done.
SOATERA is founder-led by design, but not limited by it.
